Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase – Sophomore Review – White Team

Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase – Sophomore Review – White Team

The Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase Sophomore game had most of the best sophomores in the state participate. Despite the White team not having a great second half and let the game slip a bit, they did have some standout performances. Sam Masten a 6’2 guard from Rock Canyon led the way.

It was clear Masten was at another level when compared to most of the participants in this game. He showed that he is highly skilled and has great body control making easy finishes at the rim. He was the only one on the White team that could get his own shot.

Wohlleber has plenty of potential. He showed that his post moves are developing. He moved really well for his size and showed a good feel for the game. Did a good job rebounding.

IMG_53292018 6’0 G Sam Bannec – Regis

Bannec did back down on defense at all and stepped up to every challenge. He was able to get the shots he wanted. He did a little bit of everything else grabbed a few rebounds, handed out an assist or two and snag a couple steals. Otherwise, another fundamentally sound player from the Regis stable.
