Metro State Team Camp 2016 – Week 2- Varsity only
Metro State hosts three weekends worth of team camps from Memorial Day Weekend through June 12th. This second weekend is the Varsity only camp which will be played on campus at Metro State and at Manual High School. The 48 team camp features a number of traditionally good programs from Colorado but also has teams from Nebraska and New Mexico.
Regis Jesuit won the championship bracket last weekend and have a team entered for this round as well. The Raiders have a crop of young guards coming up that should be pretty good when it’s all said and done.
There appears to be some good match ups during pool play such as Regis vs. Rampart, Grandview vs ThunderRidge, and each game in Pool K should be interesting. Again that is assuming that all teams are full strength.
Below is the pool play schedule. Be prepared to pay for parking and a $6 admission fee each day, at least that’s what was charged last weekend.
