Yet another prep star from Colorado has made Team USA.  Brett Brady, a 1st team all conference player who averaged 15 ppg as a senior at Highlands Ranch H.S. has earned a spot on the National 3×3 Team.   The USA U18 Team will compete at the World FIBA 3×3 Tournament in Spain this fall.
While his 3×3 team did not win the tournament, he put on such a shooting display (including winning the national 3 point shooting contest ) that he was placed on the 3×3 team as the fourth member.

According to USA Basketball’s press release USA Basketball U18 3×3 National Team Committee member Don Showalter said, “I think (Brady) is going to be a good fit for the other three because he can hit the outside shot, he’s a good 3-point shooter and he can make plays. In 3×3 you want guys that can make plays and he showed that all weekend.”

Brady told USA Basketball,  “I’ve worked hard and it feels good to get a chance to go out there and play for the USA,” said Brady of being able to represent the USA. “It’s a big deal and something you always wish to do in your life.”

According to his high school coach, when Brady gets back from Spain he will continue his basketball career at the University of Colorado- Boulder.
