Colorado Club Results & Pub July 17 NCAA Eval Period 2

Colorado Club Results & Pub July 17 NCAA Eval Period 2

Club players, coaches both club and college, and their families call July a grind for a reason. It’s only the second week and injuries are mounting for a number of Colorado Club teams but the grind continues and some clubs are preserving.

In New York at the Adidas Uprising All American Camp  DeRon Davis hurt his hand and it sounds like he could miss the Super 64 in Vegas next week. On a positive note 2017 G Jaizec Lottie had his best game of the camp scoring 8 points and tallying 8 assists. Colorado Elite’s 2016 G Riley Welch grabbed 7 rebounds 5 points and dished out 8 assists in his last game.

Down in Atlanta at the Under Armour Finals Next Level Premier was again without the services of guards Austin Fritts and Monroe Porter as Premier went 0-2.

The Great American Shoot Out finished up pool play today.  Now its on to bracket play. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to how the brackets are set up. Bracket play starts tomorrow and ends up on Sunday.

Team Hook’em 15’s in the Gold NCAA Bracket

In St. Louis at the Three Stripes Alliance the Colorado Hawks are 2-0 so far. Hawks are doining it with out DeRon Davis and Christian Popoola. Popoola a 2017 guard from Utah is participating at the Nike Global Challenge and is suiting up for team Pan Africa. Meanwhile that is giving other a chance to showcase themselves Alpha Diallo is averaging 20 ppg in St. Louis. Tyrei Randall is play well averaging double digits along with David Thornton.

It definitely is Live for the Colorado Hawks 15’s at the Las Vegas Live Tournament.  The Colorado Hawks 15’s are simply demolishing the competition. That isn’t an exaggeration. They won their first game by 61, second game by 53, and their last pool game by 64. The Hawks trapping defense has been causing massive turnovers and the Hawks aren’t missing the layup opportunities.

Staying in the 15’s Bracket the Elevation Flyers 2018  is 0-3 while the Elevation Flyers Black finished 2-1 and second in their pool. Bracket play starts tomorrow for all three 15’s teams.

In the 16’s, the Colorado Hawks are 3-0 and with out 2017 G  Jervay Green who is in St. Louis with the 17’s team. The Elevation Flyers Black  are 2-1 in pool play.

P-Dub Hoop Club is the only 17’s team in Vegas at the moment. They finished 2-1 and second in their pool and play in the Gold Bracket tomorrow.

Out in Anaheim

Shining Stars 17’s Black lost to Pump N Run Elite in the first round of the Open Bracket

The Force 17’s appear to have gotten win by forfeit and a much needed rest and will play Latino Select in the 2nd round of the open bracket.

The Titans 17’s Gold lost to the Oakland Rebels in the first round of bracket play. Titans are another team that has been bitten by the injury bug.

The Colorado Thunder lost in the first  round of the Gold Bracket as did B& B white and Titans 17 Black.
